WHAT IS YOUTH EMPOWERMENT?

As the word suggests youth empowerment is a process in that children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their life.  this also helps them to improve access to resources and transform their consciousness through their belief, values, and attitude. The motive is to improve the quality of life.  youth empowerment is often addressed as a gateway to intergenerational equity, civic engagement, and democracy-building.  Swami Vivekananda once said,” my hope of the future lies in the youths of character, intelligence, renouncing all for the service of others, and obedience- good to themselves and the country at large.”The key to empowering the use is education and using it for the betterment of the country. unfortunately, the youth of today are becoming irresponsible towards themselves and their duties. We are in a labyrinth of poverty, corruption, violence, malnutrition, crime, and unemployment. India is the largest democratic nation in the world but lacks to eliminate these vicious circles.

The United Nations reported,’ India has the world’s largest youth population with 356 million 10-24 near old.’  India holds the highest rank beating China in the race. as the world is home to 1.8 billion young people between the age of 10 to 24 years, 9 in 10 of the world’s young population lives in less developed countries and so is the situation of India. “Never before has there been so many young people.  never again is there likely to be touch potential for economic and social progress. how we meet the needs and aspirations of young people will define our common future. to maximize the dividend, countries must and sure their young working-age population is required to seize opportunities for jobs and other income-earning possibilities.” the UN agency reported.

Blessed with such a huge crowd of the used, India is educating and creating jobs and empowering the country as a whole. the best brains are found in the use of a country, who have to take things into their hands to make a difference. in the time of technology, the internet, and social media, the extended recent and future generations have brought message change to the perspective of empowerment. you will invest one-third part of your life in education, from school to Junior College, and the degree to doctorate. To what? finding a job, being independent, and providing for your family. these are going to be the beginning of an image of a better future for the country.

YOUTH AND SOCIAL MEDIA

Internet and Technology have been a boon to the world and so did social media. Connecting the world, finding lost friends, and providing information to the point have been proved immensely helpful to mankind. the role of social media has created its special spot in the youth’s hearts and hence has a great influence on them. Which makes it a powerful tool.

The excessive use of social media has been proven as one of the primary reasons for causing restlessness and disturbing Lifestyle patterns. The youth is the future of the nation. You are one of a kind. Make your voice heard. Take advantage of the young blood you have. You don’t have to start a multi-millionaire dollar company to stand on making a difference. all you must do is believe in yourself and help one person. Be kind to everybody. you will surely be called the successful you the country has been waiting for. We all must understand our responsibilities towards the country and pay back our motherland.
